Trying to download Itunes9  PC continues to try a download to e:.  When I attempt to change drive it will not let me.  Have windows 7

Where do all your other downloads end up, are you able to control those via any Save dialog?
What happens if you right-click on your browser shortcut and select the "Run As Administrator" option?
If you are using any other browser, try the download with IE.
Are you choosing a folder on E: that perhaps you do not have access to?  Try choosing a destination on E: that is one level down from E: drive, in other words a sub-folder of E: drive, not the Root (top) of the drive.

Run CHKDSK

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Restart your computer.
