Tried double clicking on Internet Explorer icon  this am and received message that IE cannot display the webpage.
Called ATT this a.m.
and they troubleshot and said the problem is with IE.  I was told to try again later.  I have been trying again and
again  and even went to my local library and got same message, so the problem is definitely not with my computer.  (I also use Mozilla and neither my computer nor the library's has any trouble accessing it.)   My comuter is a Dell Desktop and I have Windows
XP Professional 2002 version.
  The library said they have Acer computers and they are using Windows 6.0.2900.2180XPSP 1995-2004 version.
I m located North of Chicago, IL in case the problem is local.

That means that your Homepage can't be opened but you haven't told us what that is.

Alternatively make  About:Blank  your Home page.   In IE:  press Alt-T,O,Alt-b

I doubt you will be able to do that with a library computer but you may still be able to open  About:Blank  on it which would be the same end result:  IE would be open and not showing you an error message.

Manually editing the Windows registry
