Can I use a large (2 T hd) to make a raid 1 onto it from 2 smaller drives?

I am currently using windows Home Premium and may upgrade to Windows 7 Pro, if I can do the above.  My computer has a 500 GB C drive and a 500 GB D drive.  I want to add a 2 Terra byte 3rd drive and raid 1 both the C & D drive to it.
  Is that doable?
  I'm running my windows 7 on 32 bit operating system.  Additional Bonus question.  If the above is doable can I also raid 1 my Gateway notebook (Windows 7 Pro) to that same 2 T drive?   My Notebook computer is running on 64 bit.
