Can I stop a reset?

My PC is in the process of resetting.
The problem is, I chose the option to completely wipe the drives and now it is taking FOREVER 2 hours so far and only at 14%.
Can this process be stopped and started again using the reset only option? Or do I have
to wait this out?

I stopped it and it rebooted back into reset without issue.
It's all done and only took about 30 minutes.
 
I was booting from a USB recovery drive though.
