i keep getting above error every time i try to install nokia ovi suite on my pc.
p.s have tried all compatability settings,as i thought that might be the problem,but no joy

What’s the complete error message you receive?
 
First try and install the Ovi Suite in administrator mode.

 
To install the drivers in administrator mode,
 
1.
Locate the program icon, right-click click Run as administrator.
 
2.
When the UAC message is displayed, do one of the following:
 
·          If you are logged on as a standard user, or if UAC is configured to always require credentials, enter the appropriate administrative credentials, and then click OK.
·          If you are logged on as an administrator and UAC is not configured to always require credentials, click Yes to start the application.
 
Proceed with the installation.
 
If the above steps do not help, try the following:
 
1.

Uninstall PC Suite, PC Connectivity solution and any other version of Ovi suite.
2.
Download and run the
Nokia PC Suite Cleaner to remove any unnecessary Nokia PC Suite-related files and registry data left on your PC after uninstalling Nokia PC Suite.
 
Important: Before using Nokia PC Suite Cleaner, make a backup copy of all your personal content that is stored in the same folder as Nokia PC Suite.
 
3.
Restart the computer.

4.
Download and install the latest version of
Ovi Suite
5.
Restart your computer.

Run CHKDSK

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Restart your computer.
