apple itunes not able to run

Original title: help with apple itunes not able to run anymore when it use to.

when i went to the latest ver on itunes it now will not run. the pgm issues a pgm stop msg.

i have not added new software except uniblue.

itunes did not load before this also. i use itunes for music.

i have an ipod and have ordered a new "ipod touch."

also i have norton 360 premier.

norton says that norton and microsoft essentials conflict with each other.

any help would be appreciated.

There should be only one Antivirus program on a computer to avoid conflicts, system instability, and performance issues.
If you are satisfied with Norton you should uninstall MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials).
If you would prefer to use MSE then Norton
should be uninstalled.
