ATL100.dll is missing from computer. is it part of Dell Dock. it appeared after office update said it had to close some programs

i received this message after installing update to office.
it keeps me from opening Dell Dock..
since i had this problem and after trying several fixes i deleted Dell Dock from computer.
i now have Dell Dock msi installer left on computer.
#1 how can i delete
this msi.
#2 how do i reinstall ATL100.dll'
#3 if i can reinstall missing dll.
and msi then i may reinstall Dell Docker.
it appears that when updating or installing some programs that i cannot allow
programs or files open to be closed automatically.
some updates or installing asks me to close Dell Dock so it can proceed.

As you mentioned, you first got the error message during Office updates and receive this error message consistently while installing Dell Dock, so I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Dell Dock and then check if you get the error message.
To do
so, follow these steps:
Try to run the fixit:
Fix problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled.
This utility removes any corrupted registry patches of the previous versions of uninstalled programs as well as fixes problems that new programs from being installed.After running the troubleshooter, try to install Dell Dock on your system and check if you are getting the ATL100.dll error.
 
If you are still getting the error message for ATL100.dll, then try the following steps:
Click Start, type cmd in the Start search.Right click on cmd and click on Run as administrator.In the Command prompt, type the following commands and hit ENTER after each command.
takeown  /f  ATL100.dll
regsvr32 ATL100.dllClose the Command prompt after running the above two commands.Try to reinstall Dell Dock and check is the issue persists.
