acer aspire 9810 freezes on resume from hibernation in windows 7 ultimate 32
This evening, my Acer 9810-6998 running on Windows 7 ultimate (32) failed to resume from hibernation.
Computer starts, passes the acer logo, then gives a blank screen.
Cannot even access bios through F2,
Shut off and restart button gives same result.
Just did Win 7 update yesterday.

- Go to the Start button.
- In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
- At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
- Reboot your computer.
"Access denied as you do not have significant privileges. You have to invoke this utility in elevated mode."
